Surah At-Tin - سورة التين
Tafsir Ibn Kathir (Ibn Kathir explanation) for verses 8 of Surah
At-Tin - تفسير بن كثير للآية 8 من سورة التين
أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ الْحَـاكِمِينَ
Is not Allah the most just of judges?
أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ الْحَـاكِمِينَ
Is not Allah the most just of judges?
meaning, `is He not the best of judges, Who does not oppress or do any injustice to anyone' And from His justice is that He will establish the Judgement, and He will give retribution to the person who was wronged in this life against whoever wronged him. This is the end of the Tafsir of Surat wat-Tin waz-Zaytun and all praise and thanks are due to Allah.
Muhammad Muhsin Khan - Muhammad Taqi-ud Din al Hilali Translation
- By the fig, and the olive,
- By Mount Sinai,
- And by this city of security (Makkah).
- Verily, We created man of the best stature (mould),
- Then We reduced him to the lowest of the low,
- Save those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous deeds, then they shall have a reward without end (Paradise).
- Then what (or who) causes you (O disbelievers) to deny the Recompense (i.e. Day of Resurrection)?
- Is not Allah the Best of judges?
